Musings from a Cleveland sports fan

In today’s Plain Dealer Branson Wright puts forth the idea that LeBron James, by signing a short contract with the LeCavs, might have an eye toward playing in New York in four years. It turns out LeBron’s good friend is Jay-Z, who is a partial owner of the Nets, a team on the move to Brooklyn. And apparently there are clauses in LBJ’s endorsement contracts that would pay him more if he played in New York.

Welcome to the party, Branson. We’ll just ignore the fact that you’re awfully late and celebrate that you showed up at all.
