Game 23: L

16, 16, 12, 16, 19, 10, 15, 19, 8.
These are point totals from all the of the quarters in the second game of back-to-backs in which the Cavs have failed to score 20 points. The eight point second quarter last night killed the Cavs. It’s unfortunate, too, because the team played very well defensively, so good that even just a little bit of an offensive output would have been enough for the victory. As it was, the Cavs laid an egg. 74 points just isn’t going to cut it in the NBA.
Gooden, LeBron, and Gibson were the only bright spots. Snow and Hughes — the back court! — were pretty terrible. Everyone else was uninspiring.
